Is a hospital a spaceship in disguise and are all those nice people who talk in very short sentences from another planet?
How can we tell?

‘I have a little camera,’ he, in the white coat, says.
‘Ok.’
‘Put your head down.’
I do.
‘To the left a little. Breathe. Keep breathing.’
I do.
‘Very good. Well done. Keep breathing. Swallow. Say: Eeeeh! Stick out your tongue.’
‘Eeeeh’.
It’s not much of a chat really.
If he has put a camera in my brain, he won’t see very much.
‘Well done,’ he says.
I am pleased to get a smiley badge for sticking out my tongue and I think that if this doctor is an alien, then he’s very nice and we should perhaps have many more aliens coming here to make us to say ‘Aaah.’
‘Thank you,’ I say.
There is a momentary shimmer in the air and the doctor is teleported away.
I find myself on the first floor of a car park, but without my parking ticket.
Life is back to normal.
